These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sequencecentral.com and the text messaging program operated by Sequence Central Inc (“Sequence Central,” “we,” “us”).

About our service

Sequence Central operates an app for organizing social events. Registered users (hosts) create events and add invitees they personally know. The app sends invitations and RSVP notices by email or SMS. Sequence Central also sends account and service alerts to users who opt in.

Text Messaging Terms

  • Program name: Sequence Central Event Invitations and Service Alerts.
  • Who sends the messages: Sequence Central Inc (“Sequence Central”).
  • What we send: Event invitations, RSVP links and event updates sent on behalf of a host who created an event, plus account and service alerts such as verification codes and security notices sent to users who opt in.
  • How you opt in: Users opt in by entering a mobile number on our SMS sign-up page and checking the box for the messages they want. Marketing and transactional consent are separate, optional, and never pre-checked. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Consent from invitees: A host may add an invitee's mobile number only if the invitee has agreed to receive text messages about that event. By adding a number, the host confirms they have the invitee's permission. Hosts must not add numbers for people who have not agreed to be contacted. We may suspend any account that does.
  • Message frequency: Up to 4 messages per event, and no more than 10 messages per month per recipient.
  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. After you reply STOP we send one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resume.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at contact@sequencecentral.com.
  • Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: See our Privacy Policy at https://sequencecentral.com/about/privacy-policy/ for how we handle your information. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties.

How to opt out of text messages

You can stop receiving text messages at any time, and we will honor your request promptly.

  • By text: Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to any message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
  • By email: Email contact@sequencecentral.com with your mobile number and the word STOP. We will remove your number within 2 business days.
  • By contact form: Submit a request on our Contact page with your mobile number and ask to be removed.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your account, and we may still send you email. To start receiving messages again, reply START or opt in again through our sign-up page. Reply HELP for assistance.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Accounts and purchases

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Prices, membership terms, and any refund rules are shown at the time of purchase or on the applicable policy page.

Intellectual property

Content on this site, including text, courses, graphics, and software, belongs to Sequence Central Inc or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Sequence Central Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or text program after changes means you accept the updated terms.
